Kashmir in North India has been riddled with violence for almost 30 years now. In 1993 we felt God speak to us to reach out to these people with the love of Jesus.

We moved to Kashmir and lived with an amazing Muslim family in the middle of the war and saw Jesus open up incredible doors to share his love and grace.

With massive unemployment and up to 200 days off school a year due to fighting and curfews, kids are bored, young people are disillusioned and their minds are open to almost anything - including picking up a gun to fight.

We decided to give them something else to pick up - a baseball bat and a new sport! With a love and passion for cricket, every child dreams of becoming a star. We introduced baseball to both boys and girls from ages 10 to university. We started with a bag a equipment with three bats and 15 gloves and 10 balls! A league was birthed!

Today we have 34 teams and some teams play at State level and have even gone to Malaysia and Iran for tournaments. We are excited to see what opportunities this sport had brought and how God has used it to captivate people minds and now hearts. Our goal is to provide equipment for 20 new teams with 300 new players who are joining our local league.

We believe we are onto something great in bringing hope and new opportunity to the Kashmir youth! But it's time to expand and we need your help.

We need new equipment! We are asking for $10,000 to purchase 20 sets of bats, balls, gloves and catchers equipment. All equipment can be purchased locally in India. One baseball kit is $500 and you can sponsor one recruit for $50
